Defence

The defence sector requires multiple products for its multiple applications. The submarine for example requires an on board generator to produce power for the entire vessel. The shaft of the generator is magnetically lifted to reduce friction, which is achieved by an active electromagnetic bearing. The generators also include laminations on both rotor/ stator depending upon the applications. It also requires products for current sensing applications such as flux concentrators, shields, core which includes hall sensing IC’s. The Defense Sector requires parts such as Motor/ Generator laminations, active electromagnetic bearings, cores, shields, flux concentrators, etc. The active electromagnetic bearings are used in turbines for achieving very high speed.
